We shouldn’t be so surprised by the daycare-fraud scandal in Minnesota. The whole daycare industry is ripe for fraud. Nor are we surprised by the way the legacy media has hushed up the story. The mainstream media’s sympathy for the Left— and ‘strage new respect’ for conservatives who move leftward— is an old, old story.
That and more on the Home Front this week. And don’t miss the Show Notes (below), which provide the background for our conversation.
Show Notes:
Nick Shirley’s report on MN daycare fraud.
Minnesota’s Massive Somali Fraud Scandal Is a Warning to Every State, Including Maine by Ben Midgley, Republican candidate for governor (not an endorsement; we don’t know anything about him)
Andy Ngo addressing claims that the legacy media already reported on the MN fraud
Legislators move to protect fraudsters
Peachy Keenan: “You had to send your baby to a real daycare to pay a Somali to open a fake one.”
The New York Times moves in to neutralize Nick Shirley (I said this article was unlocked but I’m not sure about that now.)
There was even a Strange New Respect award! Tom Bethell
